On September 5 of this year, for the second time in the Baltics, the food quality competition "The Baltic Taste Award 2024" was held at the food industry exhibition "Riga Food" in Ķipsala, where the best products of Latvian, Lithuanian, and Estonian producers competed for medals. An international jury evaluated 90 products in 11 categories.

SIA "Unda" won two awards in this competition - a silver medal for "Diplomats Gourmet" sprats in avocado oil, and a bronze medal for "Diplomats Gourmet" sprats in pistachio oil.

Professional jury
On September 5, at the Exhibition Center in Ķipsala, an international jury - leading European chefs, bartenders, sommeliers, food technologists - conducted a "blind" tasting and evaluated the products of food producers in the Baltic countries for several hours. The taste, smell, texture and appearance of the products were evaluated, as well as comments and suggestions for product improvement and compatibility with other products.
